How We Resize
Your Ring
Consultation & Measure
We measure your finger precisely using professional sizing bands, taking into account temperature, width, and ring profile.
Expert Assessment
Our master jeweler examines the gemstone settings, metal alloys, and band thickness to plan the resize without compromising structural integrity.
Laser Crafting
Using state-of-the-art laser welders, we cut the band, add or remove matching precious metal, and weld the joints under microscope precision.
Polish & Set Check
The ring is polished to remove any trace of the seam, and every gemstone setting is checked under magnification before returning it to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does ring resizing take?
Typically, our standard resizing service takes 3 to 5 business days. Express same-day or next-day sizing is available by appointment for select designs.
Can all rings be resized?
Most gold and platinum rings can be resized. However, full eternity bands (with diamonds all the way around) and rings made of tungsten, titanium, or cobalt cannot be resized. We will evaluate your ring during your consultation.
Will the resizing seam be visible?
No. Our master jewelers use laser welding and meticulous hand-polishing so the resizing joint is completely invisible and indistinguishable from the rest of the band.
How many sizes can a ring be changed?
Generally, a ring can be sized up or down by 2 sizes safely. Sizing beyond 2 sizes is often possible but requires a detailed structural assessment of the settings.
